How it works

3. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability
4. Repeat.

This clever engine feeds on the interplay between death and prevention to grow your board indefinitely. By leveraging Carrion Feeder's ability to sacrifice creatures, you send Persistent Constrictor to the graveyard, where its persist ability immediately triggers to bring it right back. Normally, persist would saddle the returning snake with a -1/-1 counter and shut down the loop, but Vizier of Remedies steps in to intercept that counter entirely—reducing the placed amount from one to zero. This leaves Persistent Constrictor pristine and ready to be sacrificed over and over again, pumping Carrion Feeder with infinite +1/+1 counters while generating endless entry, leaving, and death triggers.
