How it works

1. Activate Goblin Firestarter by sacrificing it.
2. When Goblin Firestarter dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
3. Resolve the Goblin Firestarter ability.
4. Repeat.

This loop sets up an infinitely recurring sacrifice engine by combining Goblin Firestarter with the twilight side of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight, which grants your other nontoken creatures persist. Normally, persist would introduce a -1/-1 counter that eventually shuts the loop down, but Vizier of Remedies completely negates that drawback by reducing the counters placed on your creatures by one. With the counter prevention in place, sacrificing Goblin Firestarter allows it to continually trigger its own damage ability and persist endlessly, creating an infinite storm of enters-the-battlefield, leaves-the-battlefield, and death triggers while burning out your opponents.
