How it works

1. Cast Phyrexian Dreadnought by paying its mana cost.
2. When Phyrexian Dreadnought enters, it triggers, causing you to sacrifice it.
3. When Phyrexian Dreadnought dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
4. Repeat from step 2

This elegant loop transforms the terrifying downside of Phyrexian Dreadnought into a perpetual engine by relying on the twilight side of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight to grant persistent resurrection to your nontoken creatures. When the Dreadnought hits the battlefield, its sacrifice trigger immediately sends it to the graveyard, but Isilu's persist ability brings it right back for another go. Crucially, Vizier of Remedies steps in to alter how those counters are placed, completely neutralizing the -1/-1 counter that would normally stick to the Dreadnought and allowing the cycle to repeat indefinitely. Meanwhile, Eirdu's front face can help weave creature spells together with convoke before you ever begin paying to flip into the loop.
