How it works

1. Activate Yahenni by sacrificing River Kelpie.
2. When River Kelpie dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
3. When River Kelpie enters, its first ability triggers, causing you to draw a card.
4. Resolve the Yahenni ability.
5. Repeat.

This looping engine relies on Yahenni, Undying Partisan as a free sacrifice outlet to repeatedly feed River Kelpie to the graveyard, where its persist ability immediately triggers to return it. Ordinarily, persist would saddle River Kelpie with a -1/-1 counter and permanently shut down future returns, but Vizier of Remedies steps in to intercept that counter, reducing the placement to zero and keeping the recursion fully intact. Meanwhile, every time River Kelpie leaves the graveyard and re-enters the battlefield, its triggered ability fires to draw you a card, turning the loop into an endless fountain of card advantage.
