How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Grazing Kelpie.
2. When Grazing Kelpie dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
3. Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Vizier of Remedies and its replacement effect to neutralize the -1/-1 counter that would normally cripple a creature with persist, allowing Grazing Kelpie to return to the battlefield endlessly whenever it dies. By feeding that creature into Umbral Collar Zealot's sacrifice ability, you trigger the persist loop while continuously filtering your library with infinite surveil triggers. Because Grazing Kelpie can also sacrifice itself to put a card from a graveyard on the bottom of its library, this entire assembly generates infinite entry, leaving, death, and sacrifice triggers to fuel whatever win condition you need.
