How it works

1. Activate Bulwark Ox by sacrificing it.
2. When Bulwark Ox dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Vizier of Remedies.
3. Resolve the Bulwark Ox ability.
4. Repeat.

This loop relies on Isilu, Carrier of Twilight—the back face of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn—to grant your other nontoken creatures persist, while Vizier of Remedies steps in to completely neutralize the -1/-1 counters that would normally doom them. By repeatedly sacrificing Bulwark Ox, you trigger its persist ability to bring it right back without a counter, which can then be sacrificed all over again. Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn helps weave this engine together by giving your creature spells convoke, allowing Bulwark Ox and your other persistent threats to pitch in and help cast whatever you need.
