How it works

1. Cast Lion's Eye Diamond either from your hand or from the top of your library by paying 0
2. Showdown of the Skalds triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Arcbound Reclaimer.
3. Activate Lion's Eye Diamond by discarding your hand and sacrificing it.
4. Activate Arcbound Reclaimer by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, putting Lion's Eye Diamond from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Repeat.

This engine turns Mystic Forge into a limitless top-deck machine by leveraging Showdown of the Skalds to continually replace the +1/+1 counters that Arcbound Reclaimer strips away to recycle Lion's Eye Diamond. Whenever you cast Lion's Eye Diamond off the top of your library, Showdown of the Skalds's triggered ability reacts by fueling Arcbound Reclaimer with a fresh counter, allowing it to immediately place the sacrificed mana source right back on your library.
