How it works

3. Repeat.

Because of that static protection, Leonardo, Sewer Samurai's graveyard-casting ability loses its downside: you can repeatedly replay Phyrexian Walker from your graveyard for free without it ever picking up a finality counter. Meanwhile, Woe Strider acts as the sacrificial engine, letting you send the Walker straight back to the graveyard to trigger infinite scrys, sacrifices, and leaves-the-battlefield events.
