How it works

1. Cast the Dinosaur in your hand by paying its mana cost. It will enter with a coin counter due to Blue.
2. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing the Dinosaur.
3. When the Dinosaur dies, Athreos's second ability triggers, returning the Dinosaur from your graveyard to the battlefield. It will enter with a coin counter due to Blue.
4. Resolve the Woe Strider ability.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns Woe Strider into a perpetual sacrifice engine by exploiting the delayed resurrection of Athreos, Shroud-Veiled. Athreos places a coin counter on your creatures at your end step, but here it's bypassed because Blue, Loyal Raptor ensures that whenever a Dinosaur enters with a coin counter already on it, it perpetually retains that status. You simply sacrifice the Dinosaur to Woe Strider, triggering Athreos to instantly return it to the battlefield, ready to be rebaptized with another coin counter by Blue, Loyal Raptor all over again.
