Woe Strider

How it works

1. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Sekki
2. When Sekki dies, One with the Kami triggers, creating at least eight 1/1 Spirit creature tokens.
3. Resolve the Woe Strider ability.
4. Activate Sekki by sacrificing eight Spirits, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop begins by using Woe Strider to sacrifice Sekki, Seasons' Guide, sending the legendary Spirit into your graveyard. Because Sekki entered the battlefield with eight +1/+1 counters—making it a modified creature—One with the Kami triggers upon its death, capitalizing on Sekki's power to flood the board with at least eight 1/1 Spirit creature tokens. You can then leverage those very same tokens to activate Sekki's second ability, sacrificing eight Spirits to return Sekki straight from the graveyard back to the battlefield, ready to be sacrificed to Woe Strider once more.
