How it works

  1. Activate Zul Ashur by tapping it, targeting a Zombie card in your graveyard.
  2. Activate any number of creatures you control by tapping them, adding enough mana to cast the Zombie.
  3. Cast the Zombie from your graveyard by paying its mana cost.
  4. When the Zombie enters the battlefield, Intruder Alarm triggers, untapping all creatures.
  5. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing the Zombie, causing you to scry 1.
  6. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on Intruder Alarm to turn every creature entry into a fresh wave of untapped potential, letting you continually reset your board's activations. By tapping Zul Ashur, Lich Lord to cast a Zombie from your graveyard, you trigger the Alarm's global untap the moment that creature hits the battlefield. You can then feed that newly arrived Zombie to Woe Strider's sacrifice ability to scry and fuel further mana generation, all while untapping Zul Ashur and your mana producers to do it all over again.
