How it works

1. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Golgari Thug.
2. When Golgari Thug dies, it triggers, putting it from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Woe Strider ability.
4. Cast Golgari Thug from the top of your library by paying 2 life.
5. When Golgari Thug enters, Healer of the Pride triggers, causing you to gain 2 life.
6. Repeat.

This ingenious loop relies on Gwenom, Remorseless to let you cast creatures directly from the top of your library by paying life equal to their mana value, neutralizing the cost with the lifegain from Healer of the Pride each time Golgari Thug enters the battlefield. Whenever you sacrifice Golgari Thug to Woe Strider's activated ability, its triggered ability immediately stacks the deck in your favor by placing it right back on top of your library. The presence of Woe Strider also provides a reliable outlet to continuously feed the loop, turning a simple sacrifice into an endless engine of triggers and scrys.
