How it works

1. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Haywire Mite.
2. When Haywire Mite dies, it and Mortuary triggers.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Haywire Mite from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Haywire Mite trigger, causing you to gain 2 life
5. Resolve the Woe Strider ability.
6. Cast Haywire Mite from the top of your library by paying 1 life due to Bolas's Citadel.
7. Repeat.

This ingenious loop lets you recast Haywire Mite infinitely by turning the top of your library into your hand with Bolas's Citadel. Whenever Woe Strider sacrifices the Mite, Mortuary intercepts the creature on its way to the graveyard and neatly stacks it right back on top of your library. Meanwhile, the Mite's own death trigger keeps you flush with life to pay the Citadel's health-cost alternative, fueling a self-sustaining engine of endless sacrifices, scrys, and life.
