How it works

1. Activate Fain's third ability by tapping it and sacrificing another artifact, creating a 2/1 Inkling creature token.
2. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing the Inkling.
3. When the Inkling dies, Fain and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
4. Resolve the Fain trigger, untapping it.
5. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
6. Resolve the Woe Strider ability, causing you to scry 1.
7. Repeat.

This clever loop revolves around Fain, the Broker equipped with Thornbite Staff, which grants Fain the ability to ping targets and automatically untap whenever any creature dies. By sacrificing an artifact to create an Inkling creature token, you feed fodder directly into Woe Strider, whose sacrifice outlet not only lets you scry 1 but triggers Pitiless Plunderer to generate a replacement Treasure token each time. That newly created Treasure can immediately be sacrificed to repeat the cycle, while Thornbite Staff keeps Fain fresh and ready to churn out endless death triggers and token generation.
