How it works

1. Activate Xu-Ifit by tapping it, returning a creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield.
2. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing the creature returned in step 1.
3. When the creature dies, Xu-Ifit triggers, untapping itself.
4. Resolve the Woe Strider ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop lets you endlessly sacrifice and resurrect your graveyard by turning Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist into a makeshift engine of eternal return. With Thornbite Staff equipped, the death of whatever creature Xu-Ifit brings back triggers the Staff to automatically untap the Osteoharmonist, readying it to repeat the process. Meanwhile, Woe Strider provides the necessary sacrifice outlet to fuel the loop while smoothing your draws with its repeated scry ability.
