How it works

1. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing The Master.
2. When The Master dies, it triggers, returning itself from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Driver of the Dead.
3. Resolve the Woe Strider ability, causing you to scry 1.
4. Repeat.

This ingenious loop relies on Woe Strider to act as the permanent sacrifice outlet that keeps the engine running, while also bringing along a Goat token to help kick things off. By feeding The Master, Formed Anew: Body Thief to Woe Strider's activated ability, The Master heads to the graveyard and triggers its own copied text—which now reads as Driver of the Dead thanks to its exile-and-copy effect. That Driver of the Dead trigger targets The Master itself in the graveyard, bringing it right back to the battlefield as a fresh copy of Driver of the Dead ready to be sacrificed to Woe Strider all over again.
