How it works

1. Defeat Invasion of Amonkhet
2. Invasion of Amonkhet triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
3. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Axonil that is a 4/4 Zombie.
4. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Lazotep Convert.
5. When Lazotep Convert dies, it triggers, causing you to exile it, and return it to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert.
6. Choose to have Lazotep Convert enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Axonil that is a 4/4 Zombie.
7. Resolve the Woe Strider ability, causing you to scry 1.
8. Repeat from step 4.

This clever loop relies on the rules interaction between clone-style copy effects and dying triggers to create an endless cycle of sacrifice and rebirth. By using Invasion of Amonkhet's back face, Lazotep Convert, to enter the battlefield as a copy of Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, you set up a legendary creature that can immediately be fed to Woe Strider's sacrifice ability. Because Lazotep Convert is sent to the graveyard as a copy of Ojer Axonil, its own death trigger fires and sees it die, allowing it to return to the battlefield transformed as Lazotep Convert all over again to restart the process.
