How it works

1. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Ornithopter.
2. When Ornithopter dies, Mortuary and Remembrance trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Ornithopter from your graveyard on top of your library.
4. Resolve the Remembrance trigger, searching your library for Ornithopter and putting it into your hand.
5. Resolve the Woe Strider ability, causing you to scry 1.
6. Cast Ornithopter by paying 0.
7. Repeat.

This elegant loop transforms the humble Ornithopter into a self-replacing sacrifice engine, fueled entirely by Woe Strider's free sacrifice ability. Whenever you feed the mechanical thopter to your resident horror, Mortuary ensures the card immediately returns to the top of your library while Remembrance simultaneously tutor-fishes another copy straight into your hand. Because Ornithopter costs zero mana to recast, you can continuously replay and sacrifice it to generate infinite death triggers, scry depth, and storm count without ever running out of resources.
