How it works

1. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Shield Sphere
2. When Shield Sphere dies, Mortuary triggers, putting Shield Sphere from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
3. Resolve the Woe Strider ability.
4. Cast Shield Sphere from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Woe Strider's sacrifice ability to repeatedly send Shield Sphere to the graveyard, where Mortuary immediately catches it and places it right back on top of your library. Gwenom, Remorseless is the engine that ties it all together by letting you cast the zero-mana artifact directly off the top of your library while bypassing its mana cost entirely by paying life instead. Because Shield Sphere costs zero mana, Gwenom's life payment is zero, allowing you to cycle the artifact endlessly to generate an unstoppable storm count and infinite sacrifice triggers.
