Woe Strider

How it works

1. Create a creature token that is a Human and/or Shaman, and/or has changeling.
2. Activate Ghired by tapping it, creating a copy of the creature token.
3. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing the creature token created in step 2.
4. When the creature token dies, Faces of the Past triggers, untapping all creatures that share a creature type with it.
5. Resolve the Woe Strider ability, causing you to scry 1.
6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns a single matching creature token into an infinite engine of sacrifice and untaps, provided your starting token shares a creature type like Human or Shaman with Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds. Once you tap Ghired to create a copy of that token using his granted activated ability, you immediately feed the new copy to Woe Strider's sacrifice ability to scry 1. That death instantly triggers Faces of the Past, untapping Ghired (and any other creatures sharing that type) so you can tap him again to repeat the process.
