How it works

1. Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing the persist creature.
2. When the persist creature dies, it and Tresserhorn's Lord trigger.
3. Resolve the Tresserhorn's Lord trigger, causing you to draw a card.
4. Resolve the persist creature's trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
5. When the persist creature enters the battlefield, Olivia triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on the persist creature and causing you to discard a card.
6. Resolve the Woe Strider ability.
7. Repeat.

This fascinating loop lets you draw your entire deck by recycling a persist creature right through the jaws of Woe Strider. Every time your creature loops back from the graveyard, Tresserhorn's Lord, Returned turns every single sacrifice into a fresh card drawn thanks to its passive sacrifice trigger, while also threatening a massive indestructible and trampling body if you ever choose to pay its entry price.
