Woe Strider
Rampant Rejuvenator
Infinite creature ETBInfinite creature LTBInfinite death triggersInfinite creature sacrifice triggersInfinite scry 1Near-infinite landfall triggersPut all basic lands from your library onto the battlefield
How it works
Activate Woe Strider by sacrificing Rampant Rejuvenator.
When Rampant Rejuvenator dies, it's innate ability and persist ability each trigger.
Resolve the trigger from Rampant Rejuvenator's innate ability, allowing you to search your library for a number of basic land cards and put them onto the battlefield.
Resolve the persist trigger, returning Rampant Rejuvenator from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its replacement effect.
Resolve the Woe Strider ability.
Repeat.
This clever engine is anchored by the dual-faced Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight, whose backside grants persist to all your other nontoken creatures while Woe Strider provides a reliable sacrifice outlet and escape recursion. By feeding Rampant Rejuvenator to Woe Strider, you trigger the elemental's death ability to thin your deck of basic lands while its persist-granted return brings it right back with any counters neutralized. You can repeat this loop endlessly, using Woe Strider's scry ability to filter your draws and Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight's presence to turn every iteration into a massive landfall storm and infinite death triggers.
