Historian's Boon

How it works

1. Activate Evereth by sacrificing another creature that has an Aura attached to it.
2. When the creature dies, Cass triggers, returning an Aura that was attached to the creature from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to another creature you control.
3. When the Aura enters the battlefield, Historian's Boon triggers, creating a creature token.
4. Resolve the Evereth ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on a clever loop of recycling enchantments to endlessly fuel Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder's sacrifice ability. By feeding a creature enchanted by an Aura to Evereth, you trigger Cass, Hand of Vengeance's ability upon its death to immediately return that Aura from the graveyard right back to the battlefield. Every time that Aura re-enters, Historian's Boon steps in to produce a fresh 1/1 Soldier token, providing you with a brand new sacrifice fodder to feed right back into Evereth. This cycle generates infinite sacrifice triggers, death triggers, and token creation while growing Evereth into an unstoppable threat with infinite +1/+1 counters.
