How it works

  1. Activate Wall of Roots by putting two -0/-1 counters on it (due to Vorinclex), adding G mana.
  2. Activate Tayam by paying 3 and removing three counters from creatures you control.
  3. In response to Tayam's ability, activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Wall of Roots, adding ColorlessColorless.
  4. Resolve Tayam's ability, milling yourself three cards and returning Wall of Roots from your graveyard to the battlefield with two vigilance counters on it due to Tayam and Vorinclex.
  5. Repeat.

This mesmerizing loop turns a humble wall into an engine of endless rebirth, fueled by the terrifying mathematics of Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider. Wall of Roots normally limits its own green mana production, but Vorinclex doubles its -0/-1 counters to instantly pay the cost for Tayam, Luminous Enigma's ability while rapidly stocking your board with counters. When you sacrifice the wall to Ashnod's Altar for colorless mana, Tayam steps in to resurrect it directly from the graveyard. Thanks to Tayam, Luminous Enigma's passive generation of vigilance counters—which Vorinclex further doubles upon re-entry—you always have more than enough fuel to pay Tayam's activation cost and repeat the cycle indefinitely.
