How it works

1. Cast Grishnákh by paying its mana cost; it enters with a vigilance counter due to Tayam.
2. When Grishnákh enters, it creates a creature token with mutiple counters on it, including a vigilance counter due to Tayam, and, if possible, allows you to gain control of a creature with lesser power than that token's power until end of turn.
3. Activate Tayam by paying 3 and removing two vigilance counters and one additional counter from creatures you control.
4. Holding priority, activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing Grishnákh and one additional creature, adding .
5. Resolve Tayam's ability, milling yourself three cards and returning Grishnákh from your graveyard to the battlefield.
6. Repeat from step 2.
