How it works

1. Activate Hammerhead by sacrificing the nontoken creature.
2. When the creature dies, Mortuary and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting the creature from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
5. Resolve the Hammerhead ability.
6. Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding one mana of any color.
7. Cast the creature from the top of your library by paying its mana cost
8. Repeat.

This clever engine uses Hammerhead, Maggia Boss as the sacrifice outlet to continually send your creature to the graveyard, where Mortuary instantly redirects it back to the top of your library. Meanwhile, Pitiless Plunderer funds the loop by generating a Treasure token every time a creature dies, providing the mana needed to recast your fodder. Benjamin Sisko, Besieged ties the whole strategy together by letting you play that creature straight off the top of your library, creating an infinite, self-sustaining cycle of sacrifices and casts.
