How it works

  1. Activate Bloodthrone Vampire by sacrificing Priest of Gix.
  2. When Priest of Gix dies, Rakdos triggers.
  3. Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying B mana, putting Priest of Gix from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
  4. Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile the top three cards of your library with the ability to play them until your next end step.
  5. Resolve the Bloodthrone Vampire ability from step 1.
  6. Cast Priest of Gix from exile by paying at most 2.
  7. When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding B manaB manaB mana.
  8. Repeat.

This intricate loop allows you to systematically dismantle your library and recast your entire deck by weaponizing the recursion of Priest of Gix. With Jet Medallion discount-shaving the black mana requirement, Priest of Gix's entrance yields a surplus of mana when it hits the stack, providing the exact fuel you need to replay it repeatedly from exile. Haunted Crossroads serves as the crucial glue for any misplaced cards, ensuring you can always cycle creatures back when needed, while Bloodthrone Vampire provides the free sacrifice outlet to send the priest back to the graveyard. Finally, every single iteration feeds Rakdos, the Muscle, whose triggered ability exploits those very sacrifices to systematically exile your entire library so you can play every spell you own.
