How it works
Activate Bloodthrone Vampire by sacrificing Priest of Gix.
When Priest of Gix dies, Rakdos triggers.
Holding priority, activate Haunted Crossroads by paying , putting Priest of Gix from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
Resolve the Rakdos trigger, causing you to exile the top three cards of your library with the ability to play them until your next end step.
Resolve the Bloodthrone Vampire ability from step 1.
Cast Priest of Gix from exile by paying at most 2.
When Priest of Gix enters the battlefield, it triggers, adding .
Repeat.
This clever loop lets you turn black mana into an endless cycle of sacrifice and rebirth by weaponizing Rakdos, the Muscle alongside Bloodthrone Vampire. Every time you feed Priest of Gix to the Vampire, Rakdos triggers to exile cards from your library, while Haunted Crossroads conveniently fishes the Priest right back to the top just in time to be cast again from exile. The mana generated by Priest of Gix when it enters the battlefield more than pays for its return trip, and whileTemur Battlecrier isn't strictly required to execute the core loop, its cost-reduction ability helps smooth out the mana math as you spin the wheel infinitely.
